{Update} I have filled in the numbers, so it's time for an explanation! Background - I've been letting my creativity stagnate for too long for no real reason. My solution are these 52 Ideas, one for each week of the year. Whatever the prompt is, I'll do something with it during that week. Picture, poem, short story, sketch, comic... anything creative at all. I'll try to keep ya'll updated, but this is more a guideline than actual rules. Though if anyone wants to join me, feel free to snatch those loose guidelines and any of the themes that catch your eye. Inktober 2022 (Yes, Really)
Yup, I'm back. Despite breaking basically all my art traditions and hitting the bottom of a two-year creative slump last December, I am somehow back. At least for Inktober, and hopefully beyond it. Real life update/tangent: Adjusting to a normal work week definitely took a toll on my art and writing, but this year has actually seen the end of that awful, awful slump. Sure, I'm just sketching on scrap paper at my desk between phone calls and writing in a notebook over lunchbreak, but it's daily creativity again, something I honestly thought was over for me. And, since I'm feeling good about art again, there is no real question about Inktober. I even got warmed up doing a light version of the Sketchtember Challenge, some of which you might be seeing over the next month. We'll see. Either way, I figured out how to make the scanner work (mostly - it still hates my new computer), and I have a lot of work-sketches to organize into shareable sketchdumps, so... I'll be submitting art again
