There were tons of options in the list of things Reblog was looking for in these characters, and despite the temptation to just do another easy mage, I seriously wanted to do an android of the space-exploration type. And I have to say, I like this guy, despite the helmet-fail. And moonscape fail...

(Totally optional backstory, because it's instinct for me to come up with them at this point.)
Humanity is at the point of stagnation on Earth, with super-technology but no room for expansion and a very small growth rate due to failing genetics. So, to safe-guard precious human lives, they sent thousands of highly advanced artificial intelligences in android bodies to explore the galaxy, looking for some solution to their plight.
A very lonely job, space exploration, when all you find are empty moons and uninhabitable gas giants.
