Ascending into Heaven...

... a kitten at my side.

This began as a very dramatic picture, my first attempt drawing Sousuke-sama, but when I put down my pencil and looked it over, there just felt like there was something missing. His right hand looked... wrong, just hanging there. So I added Kitty Gin. It was already a little in-joke with me, but now it's firmly cemented in my mind.

Sousuke's hair is so much fun to draw... and I don't usually draw sleek hair like that. Still, I'm really happy with how it came out in the end. Coloring it was a little hard (Hehe, wrong color on that robe...) especially the reflections, but that too came out pretty good by my standards. And I added a background... that's another step in the right direction!
